Owensboro Dermatology,
Just wanted to drop you a line to thank you and ask you to pass along our appreciation to Ms. Cox for the presentation last Friday. You did a great job by arranging for Ms. Cox to do the presentation and, Ms. Cox did an excellent job presenting the information. Our guys can be a little rowdy at times, but they are a great bunch of guys. Ms. Cox had them listening better than I have seen them listen to anyone in a long time. The information was concise, informative, and held enough shock value to keep them quiet. A better informed employee is a more productive employee and I think we all learned from Ms. Cox. Thanks again to everyone at Owensboro Dermatology for making us proud to be apart of this community where we work together to become more informed.

Henderson Dermatology,
Thank you for your generous contribution to the 12th annual Breckinridge Golf Club Rally for the Cure. Know that 10% of the proceeds (hole sponsorship, raffle, etc.) raised over and above the entry fee are donated to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. With your help we have raised a total of $5,480. ($1,680.00 to Rally for the Cure entry fee) and $3,800.00 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure! This has been a most cooperative effort by this small golf club and the surrounding generous community! We have requested these proceeds be designated to the local Evansville Affiliate which has been tremendously helpful to this endeavor for the past two years. The promise of Susan G. Komen for the cure is to save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality of care for all and energizing science to find the cures.

Henderson Dermatology,
Thank you so much for participating in South Middle School’s first annual Healthy Family Day! It turned out to be a huge success! We had nearly 300 SMS students, staff, incoming 5th graders, & their families attend! We gave away nearly 30 door prizes and tons of healthy food. We made the 6 pm & 10 pm news on ABC 25, as well as, the front page of the Gleaner on Sunday. It was a great way to kick off spring and an even better way to show our community how important their health is—especially their skin. So many people did not even know Henderson had a Dermatology office! And, now they do. Thanks again for making this day great. I hope to see you next year at our second annual Healthy Family Day!

I enjoy listening to the show. It seems like Sandy and Chad are brother and sister the way they banter back and forth. They seem very at ease with each other and the topics they discuss. I especially liked the recent show about the test to determine the age of your skin. As soon as I can get to my computer, I'm going to take the test on the ODA website!

The following is a call received from an avid listener of our Radio Show. Here is a paraphrase of her gracious comments.
She listens to our radio show every week Beneath the Surface (Owensboro, 1490 AM), which is hosted by Sandy Merkel-Finley. She said she has listened to the program for many years. She really enjoys the variety of health related topics concerning dermatology. Her concerns about her health and skin have been “thoroughly addressed” by the variety of topics discussed on the Radio Show from skin issues and diseases to vitamins and diets.
She said, "You cover it all!!"
She said that she and her group of friends regularly discuss the health related information covered in the program and even sometimes gather at a house to listen to the show. She is sometimes overwhelmed with the various medical information and products available and advertised nowadays, and the Radio Show clears up some of the jargon. She is very interested in the skin care products which address aging skin that we offer in our full medical spa, Advanced Aesthetics. She is very grateful to Sandy and the medical providers for providing such a wonderful show.

Thank you for being an exhibitor at the Health and Fitness Expo on July 19, 2008. We received many positive comments about the Expo and see this as a successful first time event. Refinements to the Health and Fitness Classic program and organization have been set in motion that will definitely lead to a significant increase in participants and a need for expanded members and types of exhibitors. We hope that your organization can be a part of the Health and Fitness Expo for 2009. Tentatively, July 11, 2009 has been targeted as the date for the next Health and Fitness Classic. What a thrill it is to have your photography exhibition at the garden (Western Botanical). Wonderful stories are told by your subject choices. All of your efforts to photograph and portray “Faces in the Garden” (“People & Plants”) came together in a beautiful fashion.
